History of C Language: There Were many languages before Develop C Language.for Example FORTRAN(Formula Translator) was used for Scientific and Mathematical applications.so need of such language was felt which could be useful for most of the purposes.Then the C language was developed by Dennis Ritchie in 1970s at AT&T Bell laboratories,Murray Hill in USA.Initially it was developed for programming in the operating system called UNIX.after that the whole UNIX operating system was Re-written

The C language is Derived from B language.B language is written by Ken Thompson at AT&T Bell laboratories. and The B language was adopted from BCPL(Basic Combined Programming Language).which was developed by Martin Richards at Cambridge
University.
